If your home has a central cleaning system installed without inlets for cleaning the basement (shame on the installer), or your home was piped for a system that was never completed, and you have your basement finished into normal living space, it is best to call your local vacuum experts as part of your construction project.

However, if that didn’t happen and the basement finish project is complete and the central vacuum was not part of the effort, we may be able to help you with much difficulty. It will depend on a number of things, such as basement ceiling drywall or suspended tile, exact locations of tubing run the come down from above, needed locations for inlets to be able to clean the finished portion of the basement.

Over the years, we have dealt successfully with many of these situations and rarely find ourselves at a loss for a reasonable solution. Call us to get the truth about your specific situation.

Our home has pipes in the walls, now what?

We just moved into this house and were pleased to find that it was roughed in for vacuum during initial construction. What needs to happen to get the value out of this?

We price the completion of your system based on the number and type of inlets and the hose and tool complement you choose. The power unit offered will be sufficient for the home, but you are free to select a higher performance machine if you choose.

The other aspects that require consideration include the location of the power unit and it’s an electrical circuit, exhaust venting requirements, and any other specialty inlets or hose management extras you might like installed.

Sometimes the basement ceiling has been dry-walled and the contractor did not bother to connect the vacuum tubing. Obviously, this and other related issues with any remodeling could affect our ability to complete your system in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
